A new dual-SIM smartphone from Karbonn has quietly appeared online in India and is on sale for 5,390 at Snapdeal. Dubbed as Karbonn A6, it comes with 4-inch IPS WVGA display and runs on Android v4.0 oprating platform.
At this descent price, it comes packed with 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 104MB internal memory, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera and front camera out of the box. Powered by 1450 mAh, it supports connectivity features like Wi-Fi, GPRS and Bluetooth. Lack of the 3G connectivity is the only negative aspect of this smartphone.
Today when Indian markets are flooded with the budget smartphones, we are surprised to see native manufacturers like Lava, Micromax and Karbonn still launching the products having similar configurations and specifications. Looks like, they are competing with each other, not with Nokia and Samsung which are focused to provide the quality phones to the consumers.
