Hewlett Packard (HP) is the latest company to join the tablet arena in the country. The company has launched its first tablet with the name ElitePad 900 featuring 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x800 pixels.
HP ElitePad 900 runs on Windows 8 platform and is powered by 1.8GHz Intel Atom dual core processor, 2GB RAM and a powerful battery. It also comes with an 8MP rear camera along with a 1080p front facing video camera.
Apart from these, this 0.63 kg and 9.2 mm thin tablet supports e-printing, touch, pen or voice based input. The tablet comes with an optional smart jackets, which add connectivity options and an additional battery for longer runtime.
User can also write messages and notes in their natural hand writing on the screen of the tablet by using Executive Tablet Pen which is priced 3,499. It also supports ElitePad docking station, which comprises a keyboard and monitor that brings a desktop like experience to the tablet. The dock charges the tablet and provides users with a secondary screen for multitasking. This docking station is available for 9,999 for the tablet.
Available in two variants-32GB and 64GB, the pricing for the tablet starts from 43,500 in India.
