Samsung Galaxy S IV, the flagship device of Samsung, which is unveiled just yesterday in NYC, is expected to arrive in India at the starting of May this year. The information has been revealed by the company itself and as per the company, Samsung will organize a press event to announce the smartphone at the end of the April, but the actual availability of the smartphones will start from first week of May.
The company has always treated India as a major and one of the important market for its products and we’re not surprised if the company is hard determined to launch the Galaxy S IV just few days after its global roll out in the last week of April.
As you know, Samsung Galaxy S IV features 5-inch Super AMOLED full HD display, Android 4.2.2, 13MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, , updated Touchwiz UX, 2GB RAM and 16/ 32/ 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone will come in two variants-one with Qualcomm Snapdargon processor and the other with Samsung’s own Exynos 5 Octa 8-core processor. But as far as processor inside the Indian variant is concerned, it will have Exynos 5 Octa 8-core processor along with PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU.
There are many things such as pricing, company’s telco partner in India to launch the smartphone, which are still unclear at the moment. We’re also looking forward to gather these information as early as possible and we hope that company will reveal these information soon in few coming days.
