The Chinese manufacturer Lenovo has officially confirmed that it is going to start selling its first Intel Clover Trail+ platform powered K900 smartphone in China starting from April 17. This is the same processor which is rumored to be equipped in Xolo’s to be announced smartphone. Some rumors also suggest that, instead of Intel Clover Trail+, Xolo’s latest smartphone will feature older Intel Medfield processor. We’re not sure whether these rumors are correct or not, and also there is no official confirmation from Xolo yet.
If Xolo’s latest smartphone doesn’t come with Intel Clover Trail+ processor, then Lenovo K990 will be the first smartphone to feature this SoC, which was unveiled during CES this year.
Apart from 2GHz dual-core Intel Clover Trail+ processor, Lenovo K900 is said to come with the features like 5.5-inch 1080p display, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 13MP rear camera. The smartphone comes crafted with stainless steel alloy and polycarbonate body. It is just 6.9 mm thin.
As per the company, the smartphone will be available in several colours including Copper, Silver, and Grey. The smartphone is expected to be priced around 2,999 yuan (approx. USD $483 or 26,221), although there is no official word on it. There is also no word on its global availability expect China.
