Gionee, the popular Chinese mobile device design company has announced their first Android Jelly Bean based smartphone in India. Dubbed as Gionee Dream D1, the smartphone supports 4.65-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED Plus display and is powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor, 1GB RAM, 2100 mAh battery and 4GB of internal memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
Apart from dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support, it comes equipped with 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 1MP front camera and packs an in-built Digital Theatre System (DTS) Sound for enhanced multimedia audio experience and has OTA (Over the Air) function to get the latest Operating System update easily.
The rear camera of the smartphone is capable of clicking 99 pictures in one click and also can record HD video at 720p. In terms of connectivity features, Gionee Dream D1 features 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS like other smartphones in this category.
Price at 17,999, it would be available in Graphite Black color and will hit the stores in the 2nd half this March across India.
