Originally announced last month along with Optimus L3 II and Optimus L7 II, LG Optimus L5 II has been started rolling out globally this week starting from Brazil followed by countries in South and Central America, Europe, Asia, Russia, the Middle East and Africa. Brazil was also the first country to receive Optimus L3 II smartphone at the end of the last month.
The LG Optimus L5 II supports a 4-inch (800 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, and features Android 4.1 Jelly Bean powered by a 1 GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, 5 MP camera with LED Flash, and a expandable memory card slot and 1700 mAh battery.
It also comes with a Quick Button that lets you personalize a hotkey to launch any app, QuickMemo to jot notes quickly and the Safety Care Emergency Call Forwarding, Phone Non-Usage Notice and My Location Notice to a programmed contact in case of an emergency.
As per the company, Dual-SIM version, LG Optimus L5 II Dual will hit the stores first in Brazil followed by single and Dual SIM models in South and Central America, Europe, Asia, Russia, the Middle East and Africa.
