The Thinnest Watch – CST-01 Project on KICKSTARTER has gathered a total fund of USD $1,026,292 which is more than 5-times the original fundraising goal of USD $200,000. The fund has been contributed by 7,658 backers of the project.
CST-01: The Thinnest Watch
The watch is just 0.80mm thin and flexible. It weighs just 12 grams. It has E Ink Screen and is powered by Thinergy Micro-Energy Cell which can last as long as 15 years. The device has a separate base station to charge the battery and set time of the watch. the time setting can be kept at 12-hour or 24-hour format. It takes just 10 minutes to charge the battery. The battery will need to be charged every month and can be charged about 10,000 times. The gadget is driven by Seiko Epson Microcontroller.

The CST-01 watch is just like a strip which rests on a stainless steel bracelet. The developers are working to make the gadget as waterproof as possible.
The sleek watch can be pre-ordered for USD $109 and is available in white, black and rose gold. CST-01 project is created by Central Standard Timing based in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
