Almost 4 months after announcing the Sony Xperia E and Xperia E Dual officially, the company is now going to launch these smartphones in India this month. This fact has been revealed by a top official of the company at the launch event of Xperia Z recently held in New Delhi. However he didn’t disclose the exact launch date and pricing of the devices as well, but we can expect Xperia E around the third week of March. According to him, Sony Xperia E Dual will be launched first followed by Xperia E later this month.

Sony Xperia E : 3.5-inch Android Jelly Bean Smartphone with 1GHz Processor

Both the smartphones, Sony Xperia E and E Dual feature 3.5-inch TFT capacitive touch screen display and run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean along with 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. Powered by 1500 mAh battery, these also come packed with 3.2MP rear camera, microSD card slot, HD voice, 3D surround sound along with the usual connectivity features like 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, DLNA and A-GPS.

The only difference between two phones is the dual and single SIM connectivity. The phones are being sold globally in Pink, Black, White colours and are likely to arrive the country in same variants.

However there’s no official word on the prices of these smartphones, but we speculates that the Xperia E dual will come at a price around INR Rs.11,000 and Xperia E will carry a price tag of INR Rs.10,000.
