A new dual-SIM 3G Android smartphone from Karbonn has been spotted online. Dubbed as Karbonn Retina A27, the smartphone is quietly appeared on Saholic.com carrying a discounted price tag of 9,090. Initially we were pretty excited and expected a retina display in the device as the name suggest, but we disappointed to know that the display resolution is merely qHD. Why company added Retina word in branding, it’s far away from our understanding, because in the smartphone and tablet market, Retina word always referred as display with high pixels density.
If we look at the specs of the smartphone, it seems quite impressive on paper because of 4.3-inch qHD IPS display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, and dual-SIM connectivity.
Karbonn Retina A27 is also equipped with high-end features like 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, 2MP front camera, 3GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and 1800 mAh battery. coonectivity features of the smartphone include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It also comes with GPS and FM radio.
This smartphone is quite preferable over Micromax A110 Canvas 2 and Karbonn’s A30, if you want to avoid a phone with larger display, but at the same time, want to access some decent features under 10K price range.
