Samsung India today announced the launch of Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet in India. The Galaxy Note 8.0 also known as Galaxy Note 510, was unveiled in recently concluded MWC event in Barcelona. Like MWC, the company didn’t reveal the information regarding pricing and the exact availability of the tablet here also.
In terms of specs, Samsung Galaxy 510 aka Note 8.0 comes featured with 8-inch 1280x800p display, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, 1.6GHz A9 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera. Powered by 4600 mAh battery, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is expected to come in two internal storage versions 16GB and 32GB.
Apart from voice calling support, the tablet also comes with the support for company’s S-Pen digitizer, which comes bundled with the device. The tablet will also come preloaded with contents and apps like the upgraded Chat-On messenger, Awesome Note (exclusive to Note 8.0 for the time-being), Flipboard and Smart Remote.
Since, at MWC, company has revealed that it will be started appearing on retail stores globally from Q2, we can expect it to see in India by the end of April this year.
