LG India is reportedly all set to launch its next generation L-series II smartphones Optimus L3 II and L7 II in the country this month. This report has been also confirmed by Steve Koh, Director mobile communication, at the launch event of LG Optimus G two days before. According to him, the company will be releasing LG Optimus L3 II and Optimus L7 II this month, but the Optimus L5 II will be released in April. All the smartphones were announced in mid-February with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and 1GHz processor.
Now talking about the phones, LG Optimus L3 II is an entry level smartphone featuring 3.2-inch display, 1GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 3MP rear camera and 1540 mAh battery.
The Optimus L7 II is touted the most sophisticated phone in LG’s new line up which brings new and improved design elements including Seamless Layout, Laser Cut Contour, Radiant Rear Design and Smart LED Lightning on the Home Button. It features 4.3-inch IPS WVGA display and is powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 768MB RAM and a 2,540 mAh battery. It also has a 8-megapixel primary camera and a 0.3-megapixel secondary camera.
As far as LG Optimus L5 II is concerned, it comes with 4-inch screen and is powered by Android Jelly Bean along with 1GHz processor,768 MB of RAM and 1,700 mAh battery . It also houses 5-MP front camera, but there is no front camera in this device.
