Now it’s is pretty simple to type in Hindi in Android powered smartphones and tablets. Typing in Hindi in Android smartphone has been made easy by Google, who has launched a new dedicated app for users who want to write messages, compose e-mails as well as update on social networks in Hindi. Dubbed as Google Hindi input, it’s compatible with all smartphones and tablets running on Android Froyo or higher platform.
Google Hindi input also supports English to Hindi transliteration mode, in which you can type in Hindi by just typing the words in English. It’s time saving in the case you’re not familiar with Hindi keyboard lay-out and spends more time in figuring out the Hindi letters in the keyboard. Transliteration mode basically converts the Hindi words written in English (Roman/Latin) script to actual words in Devnagari script.
Google Hindi Input is now available for download in Google Play store.
