The third way is quite preferable in the cases if for some reason you can’t officially update your device via Samsung Kies or via OTA or if your country has yet not received the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update. It’s up to you in what way you like to update your device, but before you start upgrading, your device’s battery should be fully charged as the update is quite large in size.

The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update in Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 brings a number of improvement and enhancements including a smoother and better UI, Google Now, improved Google services and many more.
