Samsung has started rolling out latest Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for its popular Galaxy Note 800 aka Note 10.1 tablets in the country. This Jelly Bean update brings many improvement and fixes over existing Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich. The update is just 147MB in size and is available for download via Kies as well as OTA.

With the update, several improvements like multi-window support for Chrome and Gmail, better word prediction in default keyboard and other goodies have been added to the parent Galaxy 800. However, after installing, some users are complaining that the update has removed the S-Pen settings from their settings panel on the tablet and even S-Pen shortcut is not appearing on the updated tablet.

Like always, the update is rolling out in batches and if you are not getting it right-away, you can download it manually by navigating Settings>> About Device>>Software Update.

It is also worth remembering that just a month ago, Samsung India rolled out the the first Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update, which brought improvements in browser, camera and gallery apps in Galaxy Note 800. Looks like, Samsung wants to keep their Galaxy Note 800, which has huge user base in India, up to date in terms of operating system to feel better and seamless experiences.
