Today, just a day before the starting of MWC exhibition in Barcelona, Samsung has announced the launch of awaited Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features 8-inch 1280×800 TFT display and supports voice calling over GSM network. As per the company, it will go on sale in 2nd quarter this year.
Running on latest Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 comes equipped with 1.6GHz quad-core Cortex A9 processor along with 2GB RAM, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera and microSD slot. Powered by a 4600 mAh battery, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will be available in two variants 16GB and 32GB.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also comes with the support of S-pen technology, that lets you control and operate the apps using S-Pen. You can also draw write and highlight the text using S-Pen. Galaxy Note 8.0 also includes many preloaded S-pen optimized app like Awesome Note, a new version of Samsung’s Chat On messaging service and Flipboard with Note specific features like Air View compatibility.
There is no word regarding its pricing yet. The company will reveal it probably during the exhibition at MWC tomorrow . Till then stay tuned, we’ll update you as soon as they reveal pricing and more details of Galaxy Note 8.0.
