As per the Sammobile, Samsung is now planning to launch its next generation Galaxy S4 with 1.9 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor instead of its own 8-core Exynos 5 Octa mobile processor, that unveiled in recently concluded CES. The company has detected an notable overheating problem with Exynos processor, that has forced Samsung to use Snapdragon 600 processor in all variants of Galaxy S4. Anyway, Snapdragon 600 SoC is also an descent and great performance provider chip and we’ve seen it recently performing in HTC One. It will certainly offer better performance than HTC One as in Galaxy S4, it’s clocked at 1.9 GHz which is 0.2GHz higher than the HTC One.
Apart from Exynos processor, Samsung is also reportedly planning to replace Galaxy S4 AMOLED display with LCD Display because of the problems it facing in the production of full HD AMOLED display. According to Sammobile, Samsung Galaxy S4 will now feature 4.99-inch 1080p full HD SoLux display.
In related post, Sammobile also confirms that Galaxy S4 will come with 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera and removable battery. It will be available in black and white color options and will come in three variants 16, 32 or 64 GB. It will have 140.1 x 71.8 x 7.7mm dimensions and 138 grams weight.
