As per schedule, HTC has finally announced the launch of HTC One, the flagship smartphone featuring 4.7-inch 1080p display, at a press event in New York city. There were a lot of curiosities about the smartphone among the tech enthusiasts and it was creating a buzz on the Twitter from the past few days, where several images of the smartphone leaked before the announcement.
The specs of the smartphone are analogous to the specs we’ve heard in several rumours past few days. The HTC One apparently features 4.7-inch Super LCD 3 display, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and Sense 5.0 UI. It is equipped with 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 2300 mAh battery, NFC, 32GB/64GB of internal storage, and 4 megapixel camera with HTC Ultrapixel technology.
Apart from these, the smartphone comes with entirely zero-gap aluminium unibody design and brand new Sense version with new additions like HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe, HTC Sense TV and HTC BoomSound. HTC One includes an ultrapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture lens and a new sensor technology camera, which allows users to take much better low-light shots without having to use flash.
As per the company, HTC One will go on sale in more than 80 countries starting March on around 185 telecom operators. No word regarding its price yet.
