The native manufacturer Intex is reportedly planning to launch a dual-SIM phablet called Aqua Style in the country soon. Part of the Aqua series, the phablet is rumored to be featured with the similar specs that most of the phablet include these days. The exact price and availability are still unclear, but we hope to see the phablet official by the end of this month with price between 10,000-11,000.
As per the rumors, Intex Aqua Style would come with a huge 5.9-inch TFT capacitive touch-screen display with WVGA resolution and it will feature Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor,1MB RAM, 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera and microSD card slot for memory expansion. Equipped with Wi-FI, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB 2.0, the phablet will be powered by 2500 mAh battery.
It appears that after smarphones, manufacturer are now paying more focus on the phablets. Karbonn was the first company to announce A30 with similar 5.9-inch display last year, followed by Swipe Telecom, which recently released MTV Volt phablet with 6-inch display. Hardly 2-3 days before, Byond also launched two phablet named Phablet PII and B66 in India market. Lava XOLO A1000 and Micromax A116 Canvas HD, both dual-SIM phablet with 5-inch display and Android Jelly Bean OS also went on sale this week.
