Acer in association with Intel Corporation has announced the launch of another Intel Atom processor powered smartphone Liquid C1 for the Asia-Pacific region. This is the 2nd smartphone after Liquid E1 that the company has launched within a week. Featuring 4.3-inch IPS qHD touch screen (960×540, 16:9 ratio) display, Acer Liquid C1 runs on Android 4.0 (Ice cream Sandwich) platform powered by 1.2GHz Intel Atom Lexington Z2420 processor. The other smartphone running on this kind of processor is Lava Xolo X500 that was announced in India just a few days ago.

Acer Liquid C1 includes 8MP primary camera with LED flash support that can capture images at 5 frames per second and 0.3MP front camera. It is powered by a long lasting 2,000mAh battery and comes with 4GB internal media storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD slot. Connectivity features include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.

Officially priced at THB9,990 (approx. USD $335), the Acer Liquid C1 is is scheduled to be showcased at Mobile Expo from 7th to 11th February in Thailand and will hit the stores in few days.
