LG Optimus G Pro that was appeared in a leak along with its specifications just few days ago, has finally gone official in Japan yesterday. The Japanese local mobile carrier NTT DoCoMo has announced the LG Optimus G Pro (L-04E) in their Spring lineup that comes in the docomo NEXT series. The specs of Optimus G Pro is not apart from the leaked specs as it boasts 5-inch 1080p full HD IPS display, 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ 8064 processor along with Adreno 320 GPU Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and 2GB RAM.
Other specifications of the smartphone include 13MP rear camera equipped with BSI sensor and LED flash support, 2MP front camera, 4G LTE support, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC (for mobile wallet), one-seg mobile TV. It is powered by a massive 3,000mAh battery and comes with microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 64GB.
It will be available in Platinum White and Indigo Black colors and as per the NTT DoCoMo, the Optimus G Pro will be available in Japanese market from early April this year and with a bit of luck it will probably hit other markets as well, sometime during the summer. There is no word about its pricing yet.
