HTC Butterfly : GSM Variant of HTC Butterfly J Launched in Japan


We’re pleased to inform that HTC is all set to launch its flagship smartphone HTC Butterfly this month. HTC Butterfly was released as Butterfly J in Japan first in October, 2012 then announced later for International market in December, 2012. HTC Butterfly has also released in USA but under the name Droid DNA.

As per our sources, the HTC Butterfly will be priced at INR Rs.44,000 in India and at this price it would be certainly the most expensive Android smartphone available in the country. The smartphone is expected to be launched in next two weeks and will hit the stores on the same day.

Specs-wise HTC Butterfly features 5-inch Super LCD 3 1920x1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with HTC 4+ UI, 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage (expandable by another 32GB), 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. The smartphone is powered by a 2020mAh battery and comes with usual connectivity features like HDMI out, Micro-USB, Infrared, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC.
