A new Huawei Ascend series smartphone is soon going to make its way in China and other countries including India. Dubbed as Huawei Ascend G520, the smartphone has been snapped in China ahead of its official launch. We’re not sure about its Android version and screen resolution yet, but it undoubtedly features 4.5-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 5MP rear camera and 512MB RAM.
Officially priced at 1,399 yuan ($225 or €169), Ascend G520 is scheduled to hit the Chinese store on 21st January this month. There is no word regarding its global launch including India yet, but we expect to see it India market soon in the coming days as the Chinese manufacturer has now started paying more attention to Indian smartphone market.The company is currently offering wide range of smartphones in India including Ascend G330, Ascend Y100, Ascend P1 LTE, while a new smartphone called Ascend G600 is on pre-order.
Just few days back, Huawei had showcased its first Windows Phone 8 powered smartphone called Ascend W1 and Ascend D2 having full HD 1080p display and the world’s smallest 3G data card UltraStick E3331 at the concluded CES event in Las vegas.
