Samsung has announced yet another smartphone in its wildly popular Galaxy series. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus, the smartphone would feature 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touch screen display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory along with an microSD card slot for memory expansion up to massive 64GB and is powered by 1650 mAh battery.
Other specifications on the Galaxy S2 Plus include an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, a 2-megapixel front camera, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi. As per the company, the smartphone would be available in two variants. The NFC version (model number GT-I9105P) will measure in at 8.5mm thick while the NFC-ready version (model number GT-I9105) will be slightly thicker at 8.9mm.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus will be available in two colors including Chic White and Dark Blue. There is no word regarding its price and availability yet from the company, but it is expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2013.
