Nokia has announced the launch of the much awaited high end smartphone Lumia 920 in India. The smartphone would be now available in various cities of India including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad from tomorrow at a suggestive price of 38,199. Nokia had announced Lumia 920 in India back in September this year.
Apart from running on Windows Phone 8 platform, Nokia Lumia 920 is powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor along with 1GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and 2,000mAh battery. It has 4.5-inch (1280 × 768 pixels) Pure Motion HD+ IPS full touch display.
Assembled in a polycarbonate body, the Lumia 920 also includes 1.2 MP front camera and a 8.7MP primary camera with PureView technology, LED flash, optical imaging imaging stabilization (OIS) and Full HD 1080p video recording. Connectivity features include 3G, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC, Bluetooth v3.1 with A2DP and GPS with A-GPS and Nokia Maps Suite. It will be available in various color variants like yellow, red, white and black.
Along with Lumia 920, Nokia has also released its sibling Lumia 820 in Indian market. Priced at 27,559, it features 4.3-inch screen ClearBlack OLED display and 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, Adreno 225 graphics, 8 GB on-board storage (expandable storage capacity of 64 GB via microSD card), 8 MP primary camera with 1080p video capture along with LED flash and 1650 mAh battery.
The display of Nokia Lumia 820 comes with various innovative features like High brightness mode, Sunlight readability enhancements, Polarization filter, Light time-out, Ambient light detector, Brightness control, Orientation sensor, Proximity sensor, RGB Stripe, Aspect ratio 15:9, Super sensitive touch and Color boosting. As far as the connectivity features are concerned, it supports 3G, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.1, NFC, A-GPS with GLONASS.
