Acer has finally released rumoured Iconia B1-A71 tablet at ongoing CES-2013 in Las Vegas. However the company didn’t reveal its price at the launch, but if sources are to be believed, the tablet will be priced between USD $129 to $149. Before its launch, there were rumoures that the tablet would be available at an affordable price of $99. But as per the Androidos.in, the tablet would be available at that price for only some selected markets.
In terms of specs, apart from featuring 7-inch WSVGA (1,024 x 600) capacitive touch screen display and latest Android Jelly Bean OS, Acer iconia B1-A71 is engineered with Mediatek dual-core 1.2GHz processor (MTK 8317T) alongside 512MB DDR3 RAM, 8GB internal memory(further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card) and is powered by a massive 2,710 mAh battery. It also includes 0.3MP front facing camera Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The tablet will be first available in Asia and South America. As far as it India launch is concerned, then as per reports the tablet would be available in the country by the end of this month carrying a price tag of 7,999.
