Sony has started selling its Xperia S Tablet in Singapore from today. Priced at S$749 for the 16GB 3G version, Xperia S tablet is available at company’s retail outlets and several authorized retailers. The slate features 9.4-inch 1280x800p display with low-friction coating and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream sandwich) supported by 1.4 GHz processor NVIDIA Tegra 3 chipset along with ULP GeForce GPU and 1GB RAM. It includes 8MP rear camera, 1MP front camera and is powered by a massive 6000 mAh battery. The tablet is available in three variants-16GB, 32GB and 64 GB.
For those who’re not aware, the tablet was revealed at the IFA conference in Berlin this year and gone on sale in USA from September 7, 2012 followed by Japan, Europe and other countries. But due to some manufacturing defects, Sony stopped selling the Xperia S tablet and resumed later in mid-November after the fix.
