In upcoming CES-2013, Huawei is all set to showcase two new smartphone models Ascend D2 and Ascend W1. Company’s Senior Vice president, Richard Yu has also confirmed it. As per the rumours surfaced, Huawei Ascend D2 would feature Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 5-inch 1080p display, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, a monster 13MP camera with LED flash, 1.3 MP front-facing camera and a 3000 mAh battery.

As far as Huawei Ascend W1 is concerned, then as the rumors suggest, it would be the company’s first Windows Phone 8 smartphone that would come with 4-inch display along with, dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, 5 megapixel camera, and a 2,000 mAh battery. The Huawei Ascend W1 was expected to arrive in market in September this year, but due to some unknown reasons it was delayed. Now the device will arrive in the market next year.

In the event held from January 8-13, 2013, ZTE would showcase Grand S featuring 1080p display followed by Sony, which would likely to announce a high-end smartphone Yuga for the smartphone enthusiasts.
