Nokia has officially announced the launch of Lumia 505 in Maxico. It is powered by Windows Phone 7.8 OS and features 3.7-inch TFT capacitive touch screen display with usual resolution of 800 X 440 pixels. Nokia Lumia 505 looks similar to Lumia 800 in design, which runs on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango platform. There is no word about its processor yet, but if the rumors are to be believed, it is likely to come with a 800 MHz Snapdragon S1 processor similar to Lumia 510. Unlike other Lumia entrants that feature auto-focus camera, it includes a 8MP EDoF camera and is equipped with 256 MB RAM, 4GB internal memory with expansion slot and 1300 mAh battery.
Nokia Lumia 505 comes with the support of several connectivity options like 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and GPS/A-GPS. It would be available in Black, Pink and Red colors and would head to Telcel network in Mexico. No details about the pricing or availability yet.
