Sony has expanded its Xperia portfolio with the addition of two new smartphone. The company has announced Xperia E and Xperia E Dual, both high end smartphones powered by 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor, 512MB RAM. Both the smartphone feature 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display, 3.2MP primary camera, 1500 mAh battery, 4GB internal memory (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card) and support 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi b/g/n, DLNA and A-GPS.
Sony Xperia E is a single SIM smartphone running on latest Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), on the other hand, as the name suggests Xperia E Dual is a dual-SIM smartphone which would feature Android 4.0 ICS and is upgradable to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
However there is no word regarding prices and exact launch date in market but as per the speculations, the smartphones would be available in Q1 2013. While Xperia E would come in three color variants-black, white and pink, Xperia E Dual would be available in black and gold colors only.
