Panasonic India has announced two new rugged computing devices in India market. Dubbed as Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A1 and CF-AX2, these innovative and rugged devices are especially designed to work in uneven conditions where most of the computing devices may fail.
Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A1 features 10.1-inch XGA (1024 x 768 pixels ) TFT touch screen display with anti-glare, Android 4.0 ICS operating system and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Marvell processor and 1GB DDR2 RAM. The Toughpad FZ-A1 is targeted at healthcare, pharmaceutical and construction companies. The tablet supports 5 MP rear camera with LED flash support, 2MP front camera, 16GB storage (expandable by another 32GB), Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G/ LTE connectivity, HDMI, Micro-USB. The Touchpad FZ-A1 is water-resistant, drop resistant (up to 120cm hight) and dust-proof and comes bundled with mono microphone and mono waterproof speakers and digitizer pen.
The 2nd device introduced today is Panasonic Ultrabook CF-AX2, which features a 11.6-inches touchscreen display with 10 contact points sporting a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The devices comes equipped with Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD storage, USB 3.0 ports, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile connectivity, HDMI, SD card reader and 720p webcam.
Priced at 75,00, Toughpad FZ-A1 is now available across India but as far as the availability of Panasonic CF-AX2 is concerned, you will have to wait some more time as the device will be available in the country starting February 2013 for a price of Rs. 1,30,000
