HTC, which is facing a huge competition from its counterparts like Samsung and Sony in high-end smartphone arena has announced the launch of its first new innovative smartphone having full 1080p display in Japan. Dubbed as HTC J Butterfly, this high end smartphone features larger 5-inch Super LCD 3 display with 1920x1080p display. Running on latest Android v4.1 and having HTC Sense 4+ user interface, HTC J Butterfly has been integrated with a faster 1.5 GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro quad-core processor coupled with a massive 2 GB RAM and comes with 16 GB built-in media storage.
Furthermore it includes an 8 MP camera with LED flash on back, 2 MP front facing camera and has been powered by a marathon and long lasting 2020 mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the HTC J Butterfly supports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, microUSB, Infrared, NFC and HDMI port.
According to the company, HTC J Butterfly is probably the first full HD smartphone that we have seen till now. The smartphone will hit the Japanese market in early December this year. However there is no any details about its price and international launch as well.
