Nokia has announced the launch of two cheapest and budget phones Nokia Asha 305 and Asha 311 in Indian market. With this launch Nokia has tried to expand its Asha series gallery which already includes ten various models of Asha smartphones.
At the launch Viral Oza, director marketing, Nokia India, said:
With the launch of Nokia Asha touch range, we are strengthening our range of ‘mobile internet’ devices that offer these experiences to the customers.
Nokia Asha 305 which is already available in market at a price of 5,029 is a dual SIM touch screen smartphone featuring 3-inch resistive touch screen display with resolution of 240 x 400 pixels.
Nokia Asha 305 includes internal memory of 10 MB which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card, a 2 MP camera with 4X digital zoom, BL-4U 1110 mAh Li-Ion battery that is claimed to provide talk time up to 14 hours and standby time up to 528 hours. Nokia Asha 305 is available in four variants-Silver White, Red, Mid Blue, Dark Grey.
On the other hand Nokia Asha 311 is a single SIM 3-inch capacitive touch screen display with scratch resistant capacitive glass screen with polarized filters for better visibility even in the sunlight.
The device will be a little bit costly than Nokia Asha 305 as it will come with price tag of 7,139. Nokia Asha 311 is equipped with 1 GHz processor, 3.2 MP camera with 4x digital zoom, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EPRS/EDGE and WLAN. The smartphone is capable of exploring 3G internet and will come with BL-4U 1110 mAh Li-Ion battery, in-built memory of 256 MB.
The internal media storage of the device can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card and the device will be available in five color variants-Dark Grey, Rose Red, Blue, Brown, Sand White. Nokia Asha 311 Will be available in the market from upcoming August 12, 2012.
Apart from these particular specifications, both the smartphones offer users 40 EA games to download for free. These games range across action, arcade and sports, and include titles such as Tetris, Bejeweled, Need for Speed: The Run and Fifa 2012.
