Now sending money or paying through PayPal has become much easier and more advanced. With NFC (Near Field Communication) integrated on Android phones for the PayPal app, users can easily send money, share bills or add money to their account through this advanced technology.
The NFC functionality on Android phones lets PayPal users check their account balance, withdraw money as well as view past transactions at any time. Furthermore, you have the option of requesting for money from someone who also uses an NFC-enabled Android phone. Right now, NFC payments are restricted to customers who link a compatible credit card, but that could easily change to allow customers to pay for a store purchase with something other than a traditional bank medium.
Good News and Bad News
The good news is that the update for the Android PayPal app is finally here, but the catch is that you will require an NFC enabled Android handset to work. PayPal’s NFC Android widget is due to come out later this year and will initially only work with Google’s Nexus S mobile, as unfortunately this is the only Android phone currently available with built-in NFC.
