This month has been the witness of the launch of several Nokia Asha series mobile handsets. While earlier this month, Nokia announced the launch of Asha 305, 306 and 311 which were the cheapest touch-screen model produced by the manufacturer, and now Nokia has further extended its Asha series by adding two new phones- Asha 202 and Asha 302. These phones have been designed to fulfill the needs of youths of browsing and downloading the content from the Internet. Also these phones are pre-loaded with applicatios like WhatsApp, Angry Birds, Zenga TV, free EA games and social networking apps like Facebook and Twitter.
Nokia Asha 202 is an elegant dual-sim touch-screen handset along with traditional keypad. Nokia has decorated this phone with 2.0 megapixel camera, music player, FM radio, Nokia Browser, and Bluetooth connectivity.Nokia Asha 202 has 10 MB internal memory but it can be expanded up to 32 GB in order to store more multimedia files through microSD card. This handset will come with a price tag of 4,149 in the market.
As far as Nokia Asha 302 is concerned, it’s a full QWERTY handset and single-sim version of Asha 202 which features 2.4-inch display and runs on 1 GHz processor. This phone includes 3.2 MP camera with 4x digital zoom for photo and video capturing mounted on the back side.
This handset has 100 MB internal memory, ten times larger than Asha 202, which is also expandable up to 32 GB through microSD card. Nokia Asha 302 will be available in the market at an affordable cost of 6,919.
