Panasonic’s first rugged Android-based computer tablet ‘Toughpad A1’ which was earlier previewed in USA unveiled in Asia first time. The computer tablet which is basically designed for tough environment such as battlefield keeping in mind has been launched in major regional telecom fair in Singapore.
Toughpad A1 has a water-resistant, dust-resistant and shock-poof and weather-resistant design and it is capable of withstand being dropped from a height of four feet (1.21 metres). Apart from powered by Android, the device features 10.1 inch LCD display which enables users even to read under the sun light. The device weighs 0.97 kg and has a tremendous nine-hour battery life.
However company has not disclosed the price of this rugged computer tablet yet and it’s still a matter of secret. Panasonic will likely to launch Toughpad A1 in Asia in September but in USA it will arrive in August this year.
