After releasing the final test version of Windows 8 by Microsoft, Acer launched two new tablets based on this operating system named Iconia W510 and Iconia W700 at the Computex, Taipai.
The Acer Iconia has 10.1 inch wide touchscreen with vibrant,consistent and accurate colors but the most attractive feature of it is probably its tri-mode which allows users to touch, type and view.
It has also included a detachable keyboard dock which can be connected to the tablet for optimal typing and for extending the battery life up to 18 hours. Also by rotating it through 296 degree, it can be used in presentation mode. It will priced around $799 when its become available.
As far as Iconia W700 is concerned, it comes with multipurpose cradle that allows for several viewing options. It can be tilted up to 70 degree for better viewing, or 20 degrees for convenient touch when using it in landscape. The tablet includes three USB 3.0 ports for expansion and is equipped with an 11.6-inch Full HD touchscreen as well as Dolby Home Theater. The W700 will be available at a price of $999.
